Take a Stand Against Domestic Violence 5k Race

The 3rd Annual ‘Take a Stand Against Domestic Violence’ 5K race will be held at the scenic Sugden Regional Park. The course of the race will be on closed pathways with plenty of shaded areas and runners will experience inspiring views including a Nature Trail, lakes and fountains, and a beautiful park setting.

Our 3rd Annual Race
This special 5K will be a timed race. The race will be open to all who want to participate, from experienced, competitive runners to those who simply wish to walk. All race entrants will receive a ‘Take a Stand Against Domestic Violence 5K’ ‘stay-dry’ T-shirt, numbered bib with timing chip, swag bag, and free post-event water, snacks, and other food items for recovery. Male and female winners (first place, second place, and third place) in the following age categories will receive medals: Under 12; 13 – 29; 30-44; 45- 59; 60+; fastest adult (overall); fastest junior (overall).

The race will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, starting at 8:00 a.m. Event volunteers will be handing out T-shirts and numbers with chipped devices beginning at 7:00 a.m.
The 5K will begin inside the Sugden Regional Park, located at 4284 Avalon Dr., Naples, FL 34112. There is plenty of parking onsite, as well as beautiful views of the inlet. You can view a map of the race here.
The registration fee is $25, and $10 for children under 18.
