Legal Aid Service of Collier County, Inc. has a newly created full-time attorney position in our Housing and Consumer Law Unit. This unit handles evictions, foreclosures, consumer debt, public benefits, and elder law. The applicant must be a member of the Florida Bar.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 – 3 years of experience as an attorney in Housing, consumer law, bankruptcy, or other general poverty law areas. The position requires strong oral and written advocacy skills and willingness to be an aggressive advocate in court for indigent client population and, willingness to travel between Naples and Immokalee. Bilingual ability is a plus. Litigation experience preferred.

The attorney will represent children who have been victims of, or are at risk of, abuse, abandonment, or neglect and their non-offending parent in family law matters. The attorney will also represent children who are already in the foster care system. Applicant must be a member of the Florida Bar. 3 years of experience in Family Law or Dependency Law preferred.
